Lent Season, the Passion week and Easter of 2012
Starting with Ash Wednesday (Feb 22) the season of Lent (40 days before Easter) began.
During this time ANM had a 5 Week Sermon Series titled: "Lead Me To The Cross"... hoping to meditate on the Cross of Jesus Christ.
Sermons:
#1 The Path to the Cross: The Throne & The Cross (Phil 2:1-8) - The path to the cross begins with humility before God and is completed in obedience to God's Word.
#2 The Power of the Cross: The Son of Man Must Be Lifted Up (Num 21:1-9) - The power of the cross is revealed to us in the sacrifice of Jesus, and is made ours by our faith in Him.
#3 The Beauty of the Cross: Treasure in Jars of Clay (2 Cor 4:7-18) - The beauty of the Cross is the treasure in our hearts which is magnified in our weaknesses.
#4 The Cost of the Cross: All or Nothing (Mark 8:27-38) - The cost of the cross is laying down everything, including your life, because gaining Christ is worth everything!
#5 The Blessings of the Cross: Where, O Death, Is Your Sting? (1 Cor 15:1-20) - Although the cost of the cross is our everything, we have much to gain in our Savior Jesus!
This Friday (4/6) is Good Friday (the day of the Crucifixion). So all Friday activities will join the main service commemorating the death of Christ through the Lord's table. (No KSS, No EPIC).
Finally, this Sunday is Easter Sunday! Our whole church will worship together to celebrate the Risen Lord! (no separate English Service - translation will be provided).
And for our beloved children.... WE HAVE EASTER FEST!!!

ANM UPDATES~! (February+March) 2012
I have been lazy posting new blogs. Apologies :)
Well, It's been a great past couple of months... to say the least.
God has been blessing ANM by sending new friends & families... and visitors as well.
In February, we had ANM families visited by the church pastoral staff (as a part of New Year's Visitation) and encourage by the Word & fellowhsip.
We had our monthly Sarangbang Dinner Fellowship at Deacons Lucy & Minkyu's home.
And in March,
We started the Men's Bible Study, meeting every Thursdays at 7pm (@ Starbucks inside Target on Markham). We have 6 members consistently coming out hungry for the Word. We are studying through Romans (MacArthur).
Also ANM's worship sanctuary --The Dream Hall -- is going through a major renovation before its grand opening (with Missionary Taekwondo, Missionary Daycare, & Christian Education & Cultural Center moving in). So we have been meeting in the Vision Hall again for a little over a month now. The Dream Hall is to be completed within a couple of weeks.
And for our March Sarangbang Dinner Fellowship we have met at Lake Willastein Park (Maumelle) and had a cookout by the lake! for more photos, go to the following link:
